Welcome to Melanin & Mentorship. By joining any of our membership programs—including SIS Membership or VIP Membership—you agree to abide by the terms outlined in this policy. We’ve designed this policy to foster a safe, supportive, and respectful community where women of color can thrive personally and professionally.

Our Membership Tiers

SIS Membership (Sisterhood • Inspiration • Strategy)

This entry-level membership offers access to curated content, events, and community resources designed for aspiring and emerging entrepreneurs.

Benefits include:

• Monthly newsletters

• Access to member-only resources

• Business listing (add-on option)

• Early invites to free events

• Access to select group discussions or forums

Monthly Fee: $25
Yearly Option: $220 (Includes complimentary Business Listing)
Business Listing Add-On: $50/year

VIP Membership (Vision • Impact • Power)

This premium level includes all SIS benefits, with deeper mentorship access, premium content, and exclusive networking and promotional opportunities.

Includes:

• All SIS benefits

• Exclusive monthly mentorship calls or workshops

• Access to VIP-only discussion groups

• Premium vendor/business directory listing

• Featured Member Spotlight opportunities

• Access to recorded trainings and exclusive guides

General Terms & Expectations

1. Respect & Integrity
   All members must treat one another with respect, professionalism, and compassion. Harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful behavior is not tolerated.

2. Confidentiality
   Any business strategies, advice, or personal stories shared within membership spaces must be treated with confidentiality. Violation of trust may result in removal.

3. Non-Solicitation Rule
   While we support collaboration, direct sales pitches or unsolicited promotional messages to members without consent are not permitted in group spaces.

4. Account Sharing
   Membership accounts are for individual use only. Sharing login credentials or membership materials is prohibited.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Monthly Memberships

   • You may cancel at any time before your next billing date to avoid further charges.

   • Due to immediate access to digital content, no partial-month refunds are issued.

2. Annual Memberships

   • Cancel within the first 7 days of purchase to receive a full refund (minus processing fees).

   • No refunds after the 7-day period.

3. Business Listing Add-On

   • Non-refundable once published.

   • Members are responsible for submitting accurate and approved information.

4. Membership Removal or Revocation

   • We reserve the right to revoke access without refund for breach of policy, including abuse, misconduct, or non-compliance with community standards.

Privacy & Data Use

• Your personal data (name, email, payment method) is handled securely and never sold.

• You may receive emails related to your membership, upcoming events, and opportunities. You may unsubscribe at any time, but this may limit access to important communications.

Upgrades, Downgrades & Renewals

• You may upgrade from SIS to VIP at any time. Pro-rated adjustments will be applied.

• You may downgrade before the next billing cycle. Downgrades take effect the following month/year.

• Memberships renew automatically unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
